Economic Development Strategy Submission
The Digital Office made a submission to the draft Economic Development Strategy.
We were concerned that there was a lack of digital inclusion or acknowledgement that digital initiatives can, and have, driven economic growth. Our submission outlined examples of economic benefits, highlighted the areas where there is strategic alignment with the Dunedin Digital Strategy and suggested key changes to the draft Economic Development Strategy. We believe that because the Dunedin Digital Strategy is strongly aligned with Economic Development Strategy, it would be easy to weave this Strategy's vision, goals and actions with our own.
